How Colors Affect Your Look

Believe it or not, people still judge you from the way you look. Therefore, wearing the right colors that complement with your skin tone, can make you glow and look fresher and brighter.

But when wearing the colors that do not complement your skin tone, can make you look tired, pale, unfriendly and dark shadows below your chin, your eye area and with the wrong color lipstick can also make your teeth look yellowish.

We will do a color analysis base on your skin tone, hair colors and eye colors. This will determine which colors suits you best. This concept are based from the all time classic coloring system by Carole Jackson , Color Me Beautiful.

Today we will figure out whether you have a warm or cool skin tone. whether you wear oyster white or pure white and which type of shades of red, green, blue that will look great on you.
This analysis have nothing to do with how fair or how dark you are. Nothing to do with your age and it has nothing to do with your size. It has got to do with your hair, your eye  and skin tone colors.

Color Analysis

Color analysis breaks into 4 seasons ; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Most of us fall into one of this season. And some of us lucky ones are able to carry 2 seasons.

Here’s how you do  the test yourself ; Do this test in a natural sun light with completely no make up on your face to get a more accurate analysis. Tick A or B

1st test

Hold a pure white color cloth and an osyter white color cloth. Spread the pure white cloth over your shoulder and take note of your face color. Does your face appear darker ? If yes, then this is not your best color. Then spread the oyster white cloth over your shoulder and take note of the changes on your face again.  Does your face appear looking fairer ? If yes, then this is your best color.

A. Pure White                          B. Oyster White

2nd test :

Hold a black color cloth and camel color cloth. Spread the pure white cloth over your shoulder and take note of your face color. Does your chin have dark shadows, dark deep laughing lines, eye bags ? If yes, then this is not your best color. Then spread the camel cloth over your shoulder and take note of the changes on your face. Does your face appear looking clear like you just done a facial ? If yes, then this is your best color.

A. Black Cloth                          B. Camel Cloth

3rd Test

Hold a metal jewelry . One in gold the other in silver. Which one complements and bland with your skin tone ? And which one accentuate dark colors on your face ?

A. Silver                                  B. Gold

Conclusion :

If your answers are more on A, then you are a cool skin tone .
If your answers are more on B, then you are a warm skin tone .

A cool skin tone means you could be a Winter or Summer person.
A warm skin tone means you could either be an Autumn or Spring
person.

Cool Skin Tone                                                  Warm Skin Tone
